Waste and recycling collections update

Our waste crews are working hard to keep services running during the current hot weather. However, there are some delays to recycling and garden waste collections.

This is due to increased staff sickness levels and nationwide driver shortages. Food and general waste collections remain the priority. Extra crews and colleagues are working over the weekend to help clear delayed collections as quickly as possible.

If your bin has not yet been collected, please continue to leave it at the kerbside and crews will return as soon as they can. Thank you for your patience and understanding while we work to get collections back on schedule.
