Our foster carer stories - Georgina and Adam

Georgina and Adam have supported more than 20 children during their time as foster carers with Swindon Borough Council.

"Over the past 16 years we have had the honour and privilege of providing a loving and supportive home to over 20 children."

"Our backgrounds are from the care and teaching sector and have supported lots of children with additional needs or physical disabilities."

"Our blended family consists of the two of us, two adopted children, both with additional needs or a learning disability, birth child and two long term foster children."

"We wanted to become foster carers as we felt that we have a lot of love and stability to offer children that need it. We wanted to offer an environment that was full of love, care, fun and wanted to help children that had a disadvantaged and tough start to life, an opportunity to really be part of a family that puts their needs first."
