Garden waste subscription

Renew your subscription

You can now renew your garden waste subscription for 2020/21, with the new collection period starting on Wednesday, 1 April 2020.

As a current subscriber to a garden waste collection, you have until 16 March 2020 to renew your subscription and be sure of an uninterrupted service. The cost of a subscription remains great value at £50 for the fortnightly collection of one 240L green wheelie bin. The 2019/20 service runs from Wednesday, 1 April 2020 to Wednesday, 31 March 2021, with the exception of two weeks over Christmas.

If you are not an existing customer, you can find out about starting a brand new garden waste subscription.

To renew, you will need to log in to your account and have your garden waste reference number to hand. This starts with WGW. You should also check your address and contact details are correct before you submit your renewal.

Annual payment by Direct Debit

When you renew online you can choose to set up a Direct Debit for an easy, no fuss single annual payment. We will let you know before future payments are taken from your account and all payments are protected by the Direct Debit guarantee.

Please note that Direct Debit is only available when paying online and is one annual payment. It is not a monthly payment.

Make sure you have your bank account details to hand when you renew online.

Renew your garden waste subscription

After you renew

Once you've renewed, you will receive a subscription sticker to place on your bin(s) in time for 1 April 2020. If you do not renew by 16 March 2020, your sticker may not arrive in time for the first collection of the new subscription period. This would mean your bin(s) may not be collected.

When you renew a subscription, you continue to use the green wheelie bin you already have. If we collect green sacks from your home, you will receive a further supply of 100 sacks. If you have sacks leftover from a current subscription, but choose not to renew, your bags will not be collected in the new subscription period.
