Monitoring and evidence base

Monitoring has an important role within the planning system. Monitoring plays a significant part in identifying these priorities, as it establishes what is happening now, and reveals trends that help us determine what may happen in the future.

Swindon Borough's monitoring report

The aim of the report is to assess the extent to which planning policies are achieving their objectives.
