Housing tenants - proposed rent and service charges
We would like to hear your views on the proposed rent and service charges for 2024 to 2025.
You can find out what’s being proposed and have your questions answered by joining the Director of Housing, Michael Ash and Housing Finance Manager, Karl Read at one of the following sessions:
- John Moulton Hall Community Café, Penhill Drive, Swindon on Tuesday, 5 December at 1.30pm
- Bakers Café, Railway Village, Swindon on Wednesday, 6 December at 11.00am
- Meadowcroft Community Café, Swindon on Friday, 8 December at 10.30am
There will also be a rents meeting at the Civic Offices, Euclid Street, Swindon on Thursday, 7 December at 5.00pm.
You can attend in person or online. To join online, email: getinvolved@swindon.gov.uk and we will send you a link to the meeting.
You can pay your council house rent by any of these methods:
- Pay online
- Pay by Direct Debit
- Pay using the Allpay smartphone app
- Pay at a PayPoint outlet or Post Office
- Pay by phone
To check your rent account balance, login to the My Housing Tenancy account.
Pay online
You will need your rent account number to make an online payment.
Pay by Direct Debit
To pay your rent by Direct Debit, you need to download, complete and return a council rent Direct Debit mandate (PDF).
Pay using the Allpay smartphone app
Allpay is a free smartphone app that allows you to pay your rent using your smartphone. Download the Allpay app from the Apple App Store or Google Play.
Pay at a PayPoint outlet or Post Office
You will need your rent payment card to pay at a PayPoint outlet or Post Office. Find your nearest PayPoint outlet or Post Office.
Pay by phone
Call 0845 603 5058 to pay by debit or credit card. This number is available 24 hours a day. The call costs 5p per minute in addition to your normal call charges.
