Apply for a tenancy
You can apply to rent a garage or parking bay from us online.
Before you apply, please note:
- You must be over 18
- If you're a non-council tenant, you must pay by Direct Debit
- You must not have any debts outstanding with Swindon Borough Council
- Please be patient after applying as waiting times can be three to six months, or even longer. They are likely to be more than 12 months in a high demand area
Swindon Borough Council accepts no liability for items stored in our garages. We recommend that tenants buy insurance if they are storing personal property in a council garage.
If there is a waiting list for the area you're applying for, your application will go onto a waiting list. We will contact you when a new tenancy becomes available in the area.
