Flood risk asset register
We keep a register of flood risk assets in Swindon. These are structures or features that may have a significant effect on flood risk.
What the register includes
Under section 21 of the Flood and Water Management Act, we must keep a register of structures and features that are likely to affect flood risk in the borough.
The flood risk asset register includes assets such as:
- gullies
- culverts
- pipes
- pumping stations
- trash screens
- flood defence structures
The register includes basic information about each asset, such as its location, ownership and state of repair.
You can view the flood risk asset register for the latest information. We update the register every year, or when new information is available.
