View your Council Tax account

Essential maintenance - Saturday, 9 May and Sunday, 10 May

You will be unable to access the customer portal for Council Tax transactions between 8.00am and 6.00pm on the above dates. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

You can view and manage your Council Tax account online by setting up an online Council Tax account. Once you have registered, you can:

  • view up-to-date account information
  • check your balance, payments and bills
  • switch to paperless billing
  • update your contact details

Please note:

  • The online Council Tax account is unavailable every day between 6.30pm and 6.45pm for essential maintenance
  • This service uses a separate sign-in from the website’s My Account. You must create a Council Tax account even if you already use My Account.

New to Swindon or recently moved?

If you do not have a Council Tax account number, you need to register for Council Tax first.
