Get help if you can’t take your bins out

We offer an ‘assisted collection’ service for refuse and recycling. This is available to people who are physically unable to transport their wheelie bin, blue refuse bag or recycling to the front of their property and who do not have an able person living in the same home who can assist them with this task.

Request an assisted collection

Once requested, a member of the Street Smart team will contact you within ten working days to undertake an assessment. If after being assessed, you meet the criteria, a collection point will be agreed and collection crews informed.
