Infectious animal diseases and control

If you keep animals and think one may have a disease, act straight away to help stop it spreading.

What you must do

You must stop all movement onto and off your farm or property immediately. Contact your local Animal Health Office as soon as possible.

Report to the government

You must also report any suspected disease to the government. For more information, visit the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (DEFRA).
