If you are concerned about building work that may be taking place without a valid building control application, you can report it to us.
We will check whether an application is needed and contact the person responsible for the work.
What happens after you report it
We will investigate the work you report.
If we need to follow this up, we will send a letter to the owners inviting them to contact us. We will also arrange a visit.
We prefer to receive a valid application and work with the person responsible to resolve the issue. However, we can take enforcement action if we need to.
