Report a damaged, missing or vandalised road sign. We maintain street name plates, traffic signs, directional signs, warning signs, boundary signs and regulatory signs.

Before you report a problem

Report faulty illuminated signs and bollards on the street lights and illuminated signs page.

Report problems with signs on the A419 or M4 to National Highways.

Tell us:

• the road or footpath where the sign is located
• the exact location, for example, outside house number 25
• the type of sign affected

What happens next

We inspect problems that pose an immediate or imminent risk to the public and make them safe within one hour. We complete any permanent repairs within six weeks.

We assess and inspect less urgent problems within 10 working days. We then schedule permanent repairs as part of our maintenance programme.
