Parking enforcement

Blue Badge holders

If you're a Blue Badge holder parking on the street, your vehicle must not cause an obstruction that prevents traffic from moving along a road.

You must also not park where a loading restriction is in place.

If you park on double yellow lines or anywhere there is a time restriction, you must also display the blue parking clock showing the time of arrival. The clock should be sent to you with your Blue Badge.

Blue badge holders can park in our surface level car parks for free provided the badge is valid and displayed clearly on the vehicle.

Multi Storey car parks are not free for blue badge holders.

You can find more details about your rights and responsibilities when using a Blue Badge on the Government website. You can also find out more on the Applying or re-applying for a Blue Badge webpage.
