Service Details
Swindon Borough Council owns a number of garages which are available for rent. As well as for cars, they can used for storage of other items. Please note however that the Council cannot be held responsible for the damage or loss of any items stored in the garage.
Eligibility
The eligibility criteria are:
Garages are available to anyone, although council tenants are given priority on any waiting list.
Applicants must be aged over 18 and not owe a debt to the Council.
In some areas there are vacant garages that are available for let immediately.
Locations
Although most of the garages are located on the larger council housing estates, they are available across the Borough of Swindon. Please contact us to ask about specific locations.
