Pride of Swindon Awards 2026
The Pride of Swindon Awards celebrate people who make a real difference in our communities.
The awards were first launched in 2008 through a partnership between Shirley Ludford at Swindon 105.5, former Swindon Advertiser editor Dave King, former Mayor of Swindon Steve Wakefield, and the late Tony Martin from Zurich Community Trust.
Voluntary Action Swindon joined the organising team in 2019. Since then, the awards have continued to recognise individuals and teams who have made a significant impact across Swindon’s neighbourhoods.

Celebrating our community heroes
Each year, finalists are invited to a local celebration event with afternoon tea, where their achievements are recognised.
- Individual winners receive a Pride of Swindon lapel badge and certificate
- Team winners receive a trophy and certificate
- All award holders are recognised by a plaque displayed in Swindon Central Library, listing every year’s winners
The 2026 awards will mark the 14th Pride of Swindon celebration. The organisers would like to thank all current and past sponsors for their continued support.
