Pay a fly-tipping fixed penalty notice
If you have received a fly-tipping fixed penalty notice, you can pay it online using the details on your notice. A fly-tipping fixed penalty notice is issued for offences related to the illegal dumping of waste. Your notice will:
- start with FP
- show the amount you need to pay
- include a payment deadline
How much you need to pay
The standard charge for a fly-tipping fixed penalty notice is £400.
You may be able to pay a reduced amount if you pay early:
- £300 if you pay within 14 days
- £400 if you pay within 28 days
If you do not pay within 28 days, further action may be taken.

Before making a payment, make sure you have:
- your fixed penalty notice reference number (this starts with FP)
- a debit or credit card
