Supported living

Supported living services aim to support your independence and help prevent a move to residential care.

Supported living services can help you with:

  • personal care
  • managing your money and accommodation
  • learning new life skills
  • accessing health and employment services

Types of support

We work with local organisations to assess your needs and provide the right support for you. This may be either:

  • accommodation-based support, for example a warden in a sheltered housing scheme
  • floating support, where staff visit you in your own home
  • support within a shared property, where you hold a tenancy and may share some support hours
