Supported living
Supported living services aim to support your independence and help prevent a move to residential care.
Supported living services can help you with:
- personal care
- managing your money and accommodation
- learning new life skills
- accessing health and employment services
Types of support
We work with local organisations to assess your needs and provide the right support for you. This may be either:
- accommodation-based support, for example a warden in a sheltered housing scheme
- floating support, where staff visit you in your own home
- support within a shared property, where you hold a tenancy and may share some support hours
You can view the directory for supported living available in Swindon.
