There are many options available to families for the final resting place of your loved one's ashes. You may choose to keep them at home, or scatter them in a special place. We are happy to go through various options with you, including:

  • Cremated remains plot – Interment at a burial plot in Kingsdown cemetery and Whitworth Road cemetery, for up to two sets of ashes.
  • Niche – An above-ground burial space, holding up to two sets of ashes with a plaque for inscription.
  • Tree – Scattering of ashes in our Trees of Remembrance area. You can lease an existing tree or find out about availability of a new tree planting.
  • Existing family graves – Interment at a family graves at Kingsdown cemetery, Radnor Street cemetery or Whitworth Road cemetery is an option. Consent will be required from the registered owner of the grave.
  • Lawn of Remembrance – There are no new plots on the lawn, but an adjacent plot for next of kin was automatically reserved when the lawn was first set up.
