Report a lost dog

If you wish to report a missing dog, please provide as much information as possible that might help us identify the dog as yours, in particular:

  • How to contact you (if possible, your name, address and telephone number, e-mail address).
  • A full description of your dog (e.g. name, breed, colour, markings).
  • Whether the dog has been micro-chipped or is wearing a collar.
  • The date and time the dog was lost.
  • The location from which the dog was lost, or was last seen.
Once you have reported your loss to us, it is also advisable to register with local vets in the area and neighbouring local authorities, especially if you live near a local authority boundary.
The Dog Lost website might also be helpful. Please use the online form below. You will be asked to create a My Account before you can complete the form.
Please note that the Animal Warden Service operates Mondays to Fridays (9.00am-5.00pm). They will contact you as soon as possible during these hours if a dog fitting your description is found.
