Secondary school admissions for September 2027
You can apply for a secondary school place starting in September 2027 from Tuesday, 1 September 2026.
Your child must have been born between 1 September 2015 and 31 August 2016.
The deadline to apply is 11.59pm on Saturday, 31 October 2026.
Key dates for a secondary school application

| 1 September 2026 | Application period opens. |
| 31 October 2026 | Secondary application closing date. You can make an application after this date, but it will be a late application. Late applications are not considered until all on-time applications have been considered and allocated. |
| 12 January 2027 | Deadline to submit a change of address for consideration. |
| 1 March 2027 | Offer day. You will receive your offer of a secondary school place. |
| 15 March 2027 | Deadline day for accepting an offer. |
