School admission arrangements

Every school must have an admission policy which establishes how applications to the school are considered.

This includes:

  • the published admission number for the school
  • the oversubscription criteria
  • other policy areas which are considered

We are responsible for writing and publishing the admission arrangements for Community and Voluntary Controlled Schools.

Schools which are not controlled by the Local Authority are responsible for writing and publishing their own arrangements.

The following page lists the schools in Swindon with their policies and supplementary information forms.
