Secondary school places and admissions
Change your school preferences
The main application period for secondary school places starting in September 2027 closed at 11.59pm on Saturday, 31 October 2026.
After the application deadline
You can change the school or schools you have requested after the deadline. However, this will make your application a late application, even if you originally applied on time.
Before making a change, consider how late applications and changes of preference are treated. Changing your application may affect the school place you are offered.
If you submit new school preferences, they will replace the preferences on your previous application. This may affect your right to appeal.
If you want to change your school preferences, complete the change of school preference form.
