Warm home discount
The Warm Home Discount is a £140 discount on your electricity bill, given between October and April by your electricity supplier. Not everyone will qualify, and different suppliers have different scheme eligibility, so you will need to check with your own supplier to see if you qualify. You will generally need to receive a means tested benefit and then meet other specified criteria to be accepted for the discount. There is a finite amount of money available, so get your application in early. Not all suppliers offer the discount, for a list of those who do, please visit the Warm and Safe Wiltshire website.
