Report a problem with a bus stop or shelter

If you encounter any issues at a bus stop, report it to us and we will ensure the right team is contacted.

Report the following online if they are damaged or faulty:

  • bus pole 
  • bus shelter 
  • bus shelter lights
  • bus stop electronic display 
  • electrical box 

We will also require the following information:

  • The name and location of the bus stop
  • The number and location of the bus shelter. You can locate a unique number starting with '4904' on the front of the shelter, or look up the unique code which begins with 'swi' on mapping services such as Google Maps or the Bustimes website
  • Details of the type of damage or issue

Response time

If the damaged item is a risk to public safety, we will inspect the site within 24 hours to make it safe. We will then contact the relevant team or contractor to carry out full repairs within 2 to 3 working days.

Damage of a less severe nature will be inspected within ten working days and any necessary repairs will be arranged.
