We are responsible for the maintenance of the following:
multi-storey car parks (four of which are barrier controlled)
24-hour car parks
48-hour car parks
the Park and Ride facility at Wroughton
We carry out regular inspections of our car parks and any problems we find are programmed for repair by our technical support unit.
Our inspections generally determine most problems, but sometimes damage can occur between visits.
If you notice any damage or cleanliness issues, you can report these to us online.
This includes cleaning, maintaining and damage repair, including graffiti.
Reported problems will be inspected and prioritised. We aim to carry out repairs within 24 hours, though the removal of graffiti requires specialist equipment and chemicals and, unless obscene, may take longer to remove.
This includes the maintenance and repair of damaged, out-of-action or vandalised lifts in our car parks.
If a lift has been damaged in a way that makes it dangerous to use, we may need to take it out-of-service while replacement parts are ordered and supplied.
We use specialist, external suppliers for the maintenance and repair of all lifts, so we cannot be specific about the timescales involved.
We closely monitor all outstanding maintenance and repair work to ensure it is carried out as quickly as possible.
This includes the maintenance and repair of damaged, missing or vandalised:
pay and display machines
pay on foot machines
entry and exit barriers
If equipment has been damaged in a way that makes it difficult to fix immediately, we may need to take it out-of-service while a replacement item is ordered and supplied.
We use an external supplier for the provision of spare parts so we cannot be specific about the timescale for replacement or repair.
We closely monitor all outstanding maintenance and repair work to ensure it is carried out as quickly as possible.
This includes the repair and replacement of any lights that are not working in our car parks.
Please note: When reporting a problem, we require as much information on the location of the faulty light as possible. Some car park lights and illuminated signs have a reference number printed on them so if possible, quote this number as well as giving the lamp’s location.
We carry out cleaning, visual inspection and electrical testing on an annual basis and aim to change lamps every three years on most units.
If you notice any problems with lighting, you can report it to us online:
