Swindon town centre regeneration
Swindon town centre projects
Swindon’s town centre regeneration focuses on an ambitious series of connected schemes running from the Railway Heritage Quarter to the station, and then along Fleming Way to Kimmerfields. Whilst ambitious, the majority of these schemes have secured funding and are achievable within the next 5 years.
Focusing investment in this area will create a critical mass of change to provide a catalyst for the regeneration of the town centre, whilst reconnecting it to its unique heritage and excellent transport links.
All of the town’s considerable advantages; its economic competitiveness, its resilience and dynamism, its connections, its outstanding natural setting and heritage, will be fully harnessed to drive new growth.
