Volunteer rangers

Volunteer rangers help look after and manage many of our local country parks.

The work can include practical outdoor tasks, but it is not always manual work. You may also help rangers run events, organise guided walks or wildlife workshops, and support wildlife surveys.

Volunteering as a ranger can give you:

  • opportunities to support your local sites
  • new skills to share with others
  • opportunities to take part in outdoor activities
  • healthy exercise
