Purchasing council-owned land

The council owns land for operational and amenity purposes and may consider selling small plots adjacent to residential homes.

Administration fees and charges

The following list shows types of fees and relevants costs:

  • Application fee - £175
  • Land valuation fee - £325
  • Statutory Notice charges for disposal of public open space - £410
  • Change of Use planning application fee - Refer to Planning Portal
  • Council's legal fee (varies depending upon complexity) - £750
