Volunteer to help your local library
Swindon Libraries are looking for volunteers to get involved in a variety of activities. There is something for everyone, whatever your interest and whatever time you have available.
If you would like to volunteer for Swindon Libraries, you must first attend a Volunteer Recruitment Evening. This is a chance for anyone interested in volunteering with Swindon Libraries to find out more information. We discuss available roles, what is involved, explain the application process and provide information about training and the benefits of volunteering with the library service.
Volunteer recruitment events
Dates for forthcoming volunteer recruitment evenings are below. Make sure you register so we know you’re coming. There will be tea, cake and coffee plus a chance to meet us and ask any questions relevant to volunteering. By volunteering you can develop your skills, meet new people and contribute to your local community. We are looking for volunteers to help with Summer Reading Challenge, Library Support, Library IT, English Conversation Clubs, Children’s Storytime & Activities, Library Events and lots more. We are looking for volunteers at all libraries in Swindon. Find your nearest local library via the Library directory.
