Anti-social behaviour

ASB case review

If you have reported persistent antisocial behaviour (ASB) and feel more could be done, you can ask for an antisocial behaviour case review. This process brings together the agencies involved to consider the case again.

A case review is not a way to make a complaint or report new incidents.

If you are reporting ASB for the first time, you should report antisocial behaviour.

Who can request a case review

You can request a review if you live, work or represent a community group in Swindon. You can also apply on behalf of someone else if you have their consent.

When you can request a case review

Your request must meet the threshold for a review:

  • you have reported three or more separate incidents of ASB to the police, council or your housing provider in the past six months
  • you reported each incident within one month of it happening

If your case meets this threshold, the agencies involved must carry out a formal review.

If it does not meet the threshold, we may still look at your case to see if any further action could help.

  • give you the opportunity to speak at the review, where appropriate
