Anti-social behaviour
ASB case review
If you have reported persistent antisocial behaviour (ASB) and feel more could be done, you can ask for an antisocial behaviour case review. This process brings together the agencies involved to consider the case again.
A case review is not a way to make a complaint or report new incidents.
If you are reporting ASB for the first time, you should report antisocial behaviour.
Who can request a case review
You can request a review if you live, work or represent a community group in Swindon. You can also apply on behalf of someone else if you have their consent.
When you can request a case review
Your request must meet the threshold for a review:
- you have reported three or more separate incidents of ASB to the police, council or your housing provider in the past six months
- you reported each incident within one month of it happening
If your case meets this threshold, the agencies involved must carry out a formal review.
If it does not meet the threshold, we may still look at your case to see if any further action could help.
Request a case review
Use the form to request a review.
If you cannot use the online form, contact us and we will arrange for a form to be emailed or posted to you. We will make reasonable adjustments if you have accessibility needs.
What happens next
After you submit your request, the community safety team will:
- acknowledge your request within three working days
- tell you within ten working days if your case meets the threshold
If your case meets the threshold, we will:
- hold a case review within 15 working days
- give you the opportunity to speak at the review, where appropriate
- tell you the outcome and keep you updated on any agreed actions
