SENCo network

The network of all special educational needs coordinators (SENCos) and other SEND professionals, or interested organisations in Swindon, meets twice a year to share and develop good practice in SEN and SEND provision.

This is the main way we provide whole-authority training for SENCos. It includes updates from the SEND service and responds to the needs of the local authority and SENCos.

SENCos are encouraged to share their good practice alongside guest speakers and trainers. These have included support for children and young people with medical needs and whole-school SEND.
