Volunteering and getting involved

A range of volunteering opportunities and ways for you to get involved in community life.

Community researchers

The role of our research team is to get out and about and learn more about the community you live in. We support local people to access the great community opportunities on offer and make the most of their local town. We also run a series of groups where people can try new activities and get to know more people in a supported and nurturing environment. Our focus is to help support people to improve their self-confidence and their emotional wellbeing- if you need support with this why not get in touch?

Volunteering

We have a growing team of volunteers, who are trained, valued and supported as part of our team. We are currently looking for volunteers for our Swindon Circles project- this is a programme that matches local volunteers with someone in their community that might benefit from a lasting friendship to reduce their feeling of loneliness.

Inclusive and active

We have a number of activity sessions in the community that target people with disabilities and health conditions that aim to improve to improve physical and psychological wellbeing.  We have a number of volunteers supporting these sessions and have opportunities for more volunteers to join us.
