Tell us about an air quality or pollution problem

Air pollution comes in many forms and poor air quality can damage health. Swindon Borough Council is responsible for monitoring air quality to ensure a safe environment. To do this we monitor air quality at 23 individual sites across the Borough of Swindon.

Report an air quality problem online

Swindon Borough Council will investigate all complaints relating to poor air quality or air pollution incidents and will respond to your complaint within 2 days. In most cases we will write to you to acknowledge your complaint so please allow time for the postal service to deliver our letter.

The highest priority will be given to those complaints which indicate that there is a risk to health, and all cases are screened to ensure that we respond appropriately by telephone or in person in specific cases.
