Report a problem with a playground or play park

Playgrounds and play parks are cleared of litter and play equipment inspected for safety once a week (twice a week between April and September).

Please report problems which you feel could cause immediate harm or injury, such as:

  • broken glass, drug-related materials or dog fouling
  • faulty or damaged equipment
  • racist or obscene graffiti

The council is not responsible for playgrounds in parish or town council areas. Problems within these areas must be reported directly to the appropriate parish or town council. Please see the Parish and Town Councils webpage.

Repairs to play equipment are generally made within 48 hours, however where specialist parts or equipment are required repairs may take longer.
