Local partnerships to support children and young people

Services that support children and young people in Swindon are monitored, developed and reviewed through a number of local multi-agency partnerships that oversee integrated working. The focus is to improve outcomes for children, and to keep children safe.

The partnerships are:

Safeguarding Partnership

Safeguarding Partnership brings together all the main organisations who work with children and families in Swindon, with the aim of ensuring that they work together effectively to keep children safe.

Swindon health and wellbeing board (HWB)

The Health and Social Care Act 2012 established Health and Wellbeing Boards as a forum where key leaders from the health and care system work together to improve the health and wellbeing of their local population and reduce health inequalities.
