Planning applications and biodiversity net gain

It is mandatory that applicable planning applications deliver a minimum of 10% biodiversity net gain.

You are encouraged to apply online for planning permissions. Ensure you have all necessary documents and consult pre-application advice to streamline your process.

Start a planning application online

After submitting your application, it will be validated and allocated to a planning officer who will assess the suitability of your proposal.

We will charge 10% of the expected planning application fee if we need to return invalid planning applications.

Most decisions will be made within eight weeks however, more complex applications may take longer.
