Funding and how to get involved

Health Hydro external stone work and entrance

First phase of the works

A total of £9.3 million has been secured to support the Phase 1 works. This funding includes:

  • £1.5 million from Swindon Borough Council
  • £5 million from the Swindon Town Deal
  • £435,000 from Historic England
  • further funding allocations from the Council, Greenwich Leisure Limited, the Swindon Town Deal and the UK Shared Prosperity Fund

The National Lottery Heritage Fund Development Phase is being supported by a £409,000 Development Grant from the National Lottery Heritage Fund.

Match funding

A further £1.1 million needs to be secured to match a potential National Lottery Heritage Fund Delivery Stage grant of £4.1 million, if successful.

A fundraising campaign will be launched to help raise this match funding. Further information will be shared when available.
