Swindon Borough Council
The Council is the freeholder of the Health Hydro. The Council’s lead officer for the restoration is David Dewart, Head of Strategic Place Making, working closely with colleagues in property, finance and planning.
Greenwich Leisure Limited (Better)
Greenwich Leisure Limited (Better) is the leaseholder and operator of the Health Hydro, as well as five other leisure centres in Swindon.
Swindon Heritage Preservation
Swindon Heritage Preservation is Swindon’s only building preservation trust. A partnership between Swindon Heritage Preservation, the Council and Greenwich Leisure Limited brings all parties together to work towards the full restoration of the Health Hydro. This includes grant funding opportunities, broadening community engagement, and enhancing the visitor experience.
Friends of the Health Hydro
The Friends of the Health Hydro are a group of local people passionate about the building and its history. Their roles include campaigning, providing feedback on proposals, communicating with local communities, and organising heritage-related activities such as research and guided tours.
