Volunteer to help your local library

We welcome everyone aged 14 – 114 to volunteer

Swindon Libraries are looking for volunteers to get involved in a variety of activities. There is something for everyone, whatever your interest and whatever time you have available.

If you would like to volunteer for Swindon Libraries, you must first attend a Volunteer Recruitment Evening. This is a chance for anyone interested in volunteering with Swindon Libraries to find out more information. We discuss available roles, what is involved, explain the application process and provide information about training and the benefits of volunteering with the library service.

Volunteer recruitment evenings

We are looking for volunteers to help with Library Support, Library IT, English Conversation Clubs, Children’s Storytime & Activities, Library Events and lots more.
