Discarded needles can be dangerous. Do not touch them, pick them up or try to put them in a bin.

You can report discarded hypodermic needles or drug-related equipment on public land.

Landowners are responsible for removing such items found on private land.

How quickly we respond

We aim to remove hypodermic needles within four hours of receiving a report.

It may take us longer to respond if you report the issue between 5.00pm and 7.00am.
