Paying for care services at home

Charging policy

The charging policy specifically relates to the financial assessment process to determine the correct contribution an individual is required to pay towards care services they receive, which are provided either in their own home or in the community.

For example, this may be where carers attend the individuals home, the individual receives a “direct payment” or attends a day care centre.
