Swindon community multi-agency risk assessment conference (CMARAC)

The community multi-agency risk assessment conference (CMARAC) is a forum where agencies discuss anti-social behaviour cases in Swindon. It focuses on reducing risk to vulnerable victims and improving safety.

What the panel does

The panel looks at the risk to the victim and the wider community. It decides the best way to manage that risk and agrees safety planning strategies.

It also considers other people affected and manages the behaviour of any perpetrator.

Agencies involved

Core agencies include:

  • Swindon Borough Council
  • Wiltshire Police
  • housing providers
  • the Integrated Care Board

Information for agencies

Any agency that deals with anti-social behaviour cases can make a referral.

We accept referrals from statutory agencies that are part of the Community Safety Partnership and from any relevant agency with a duty of care for Swindon Borough residents.
