Holiday activities and food providers

The holiday activities and food programme (HAF) provides support to children receiving free school meals during holiday periods.

A list of holiday activities and food providers can be found in the Local Offer Service Directory.

Some provider’s show what level of support they are able to accommodate in their groups, which you can see below:

  • Tier 1 – Universal 
    • All children and young people have access to an activity programme through school holidays
  • Tier 2 – Early Help, Single Agency
    • All children who are identified as Tier 2, are supported financially to access HAF, including those with SEND needs
  • Tier 3 – Early Intervention, Multi Agency
    • All children who are identified as Tier 3, are supported financially to access HAF, including those with SEND needs and additional needs identified, requiring an Early Help Assessment and multi-agency support
  • Tier 4 – Statutory Intervention
    • The child or young person’s needs require additional statutory support and are entitled to financial support and service engagement to maintain their welfare and be safeguarded
