How to claim

You apply for Housing Benefit online.

You should only apply for Housing Benefit if you are of state pension age or living in supported accommodation.

Working Age claimants, who do not live in supported accommodation, should apply for Universal Credit.

The online claim form has a 'save facility' on each page so you can complete it at your own pace.
