We have consulted on and formally agreed the school admission arrangements for 2025 to 2026.

What the arrangements cover

The admission arrangements apply to all schools in Swindon for the normal point of entry.

This means applications for:

• Reception
• Year 3
• Year 7

For community and voluntary controlled schools, we have also agreed:

• published admission numbers
• catchment areas

We are the admission authority for these schools.

In-year admissions

We have also consulted on and agreed the in-year coordinated scheme for 2025 to 2026.

This scheme explains how we coordinate applications for children who need a school place during the school year.
