The Play Den Nursery provides a safe environment where children can learn new skills, make new friends and have fun. Some of the activities that children can participate in while at The Play Den Nursery are:

• Arts and Crafts
• Baking
• Outdoor Exercise (in a large garden)
• Ball Games
• Exploring the local area
• Board Games
• Snooker/Pool
• Visits to the shops to get ingredients
• Going to the park or green spaces to explore and play
• Separate room to play in away from Nursery aged children if required
• TV and Consoles available for limited amounts of time

The Play Den Nursery are a mainstream Early Years setting who also have a number of children with additional or potential additional needs, so they are able to support mild learning difficulties and speech challenges too.

All staff are First aid trained and have Full DBS, they are also trained to Level 2 food hygiene. Staff vary from unqualified but very competent to Level 2, Level 3 and higher.

All HAF children are encouraged to make a snack and eat it but will also have a 2-course hot cooked lunch prepared. Milk is also provided during snack times.

People can access the service by contacting them directly. The Play Day Nursery will then send out additional paperwork for completion.
