Service summary

The Catch-Up Academy are able to provide Alternative Provision (AP), as well as Early Intervention services, which includes the following:

  • One-to-one tuition, small group sessions, and bespoke curriculum development tailored to individual learner interests
  • Collaborative work with schools, families, and other stakeholders, including participation in EHCP and PEP meetings, to ensure support plans are effectively implemented and meet the individual needs of each learner
  • Supporting the social and emotional well-being of learners, creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment that supports resilience and confidence, which may also help to reintegrate young people back into mainstream education
  • Supporting young people with Special Educational Needs
  • A range of delivery models to meet the unique needs of each learner, face to face, online or hybrid approach. Services are delivered in various settings, including schools, libraries, and young people's homes, providing a flexible schedule that considers individual learning styles and anxiety levels.
  • Focus on developing key life skills and preparing learners for successful transitions to adulthood. Programmes can incorporate life skills modules, such as budgeting and independent living skills.

The Catch-Up Academy team comprises of qualified tutors with diverse backgrounds, including Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), Postgraduate Certificates in Education (PGCE), A1 Assessor qualifications, and experience as Mentors and SEN Teaching Assistants. This diverse skillset enables the provider to support learners with a wide range of needs, including those with Education, Health and Care Plans.
