Reed Tutors have been delivering alternative provision for over 10 years. They work with authorities and schools across the UK to deliver provision for students aged 5 to 18 who are unable to attend school for a variety of different reasons.
They work with students who have a wide range of different needs, ranging from specific SEND, medical, SEMH needs, Looked After Children or those who have been permanently excluded. They can deliver education provision within the home, community and online tuition. They also offer mentoring services, focusing on nurturing of strengths, fostering self-awareness, confidence, independence and igniting a love of learning.
The Reed Tutors Team is made up of ex-senior leaders and teachers – they strive to match the individual needs of students to tutors/mentors with the most relevant experience, expertise and qualifications to make progress against identified outcomes. Provision is delivered by tutors who hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), unless there is a specific need which it is more appropriate to be delivered by another professional.
Reed Tutors have their own, bespoke online learning platform, that can be used for students whose learning style suits this method. It is an interactive platform that allows for live lessons, with built in support mechanisms for students.
