Gul Outdoor Therapy provides therapeutic activities in an outdoor setting for children and young people from a range of backgrounds. The main provision of Gul Outdoor Therapy is equine facilitated interventions, where horses are used to improve wellbeing. The charity also provides outdoor education, navigation, work placements, apprenticeship and gardening.
Parents, carers and service providers can contact Gul Outdoor Therapy for a referral to the service. Once referred, the staff at Gul Outdoor Therapy will suggest goals and targets for the child or young person to work towards while attending the sessions. The service can be flexible for the child or young person’s needs.
