Children and young people can attend the service for as long as they need with many attending while they’re out of school, while they wait for a placement or as a part of their EOTAS package. Individuals can be referred into the service by their families, by their school or by the Local Authority.

All of the sessions are one-to-one and online. They are delivered in a range of ways to match the interests and needs of the individual. Each session lasts for up to 50-60 minutes. There are different academic paths on offer to children and young people as part of the Gecko Community offer.
